This was on our list if Pubs to try. Let me just say...not a fan. The atmosphere was good, but was curious as to why there weren't any patrons. Well, I came to the conclusion it's probably the food. While it looks delicious, it was very bland with no seasoning and flavor whatsoever. The only flavor we got was from the large amount of salt in the gravy. Wait time was minimal. Probably due to us being only the third couple in the restaurant. Staff was friendly. Best thing about the visit was the $2 drafts. Marked this one off as tried it, not going back.
If you haven’t been to The Forge Irish Pub, you absolutely should. The food is amazing and the atmosphere, even better! My husband and I really enjoyed the music and loved how great the staff was. I love local places and this one is definitely now a favorite of ours!
The Forge is an amazing local pub with great food! Their putine is unbelievably good, with home made gravy and REAL Wisconsin cheese curds. The best I have ever had hands down. Also the Reuben egg rolls are delicious! In fact, everything is cooked in house fresh, and I have yet to try something I did not like. The staff is super friendly and the service is always great. The owner is actually Irish and the authentic food and decor is great! Give this place a try!
