They care Manager engaged Waiter staff looks you in the eyes. Actually remembers you the next time. Met the owner, he seems to let the staff do what they do, and they do it well. Chef is engaged as well. Met him and actually participated in a prototype taste testhe for a desert.
We were the only table at 2 pm on a Saturday. Took forever to get anything. Bunch of managers standing around doing nothing. No refill on coffee, even when specifically requested. No water refills. I ordered a salads- Old, gritty lettuce & soggy walnuts. My aunt & uncle said their stuff okay. UPDATE: Manager did apologize, take salad off bill, & offer something different. Then manager saw review & approached me, calling me by name, to let me know that they had seen this review & remind me that they had offered new salad & removed from Bill. I hope they also see that waiter still got really nice tip, as he was nice.
Fiance and I sat in the upstairs patio. Nice views, nice music. Portion sizes are probably closer to what we 'should' have, but it's quite pricey for 3 sticks of pretzles ($9) Good beer cheese that went with it. Very tiny menu, but if you know want a sandwich, salad or a burger, it's simple. The food is quite good.
