NEGATIVE 5 STARS! THE FOOD TASTES BAD! SENT MY.PLATE BACK 2 TIMES BECAUSE EGGS WERE NOT COOKED RIGHT! WAS A HAIR IN MY NEICES PLATE!! THE FOOD SAT ON THE TABLE AND WE LEFT. WAS CHARGED $71.82 FOR FOOD THAT WAS LEFT ON THE TABLE. DONE THE MATH AND EVERYTHING THAT WAS ORDERED CAME TO $57.07 BEFORE TAX. THE MATH ISNT MATHING! I 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DINER!!! I HAVE GIVEN THEM 3 CHANCES! EVERYTIME WAS HORRIBLE! EAT THERE IF YOU CHOOSE BUT AS FOR ME AND MINE!! WE WILL NEVER BE BACK!!!!
Very attentive wait staff, friendly to a stranger. Coffee in a big ceramic mug, always ready to refill. Be prepared for enormous pancakes. Fluffy and a little sweet. Decor was a bit rustic but this ain’t the big city.
My first time eating there, and it did not disappoint! I had the boarder omelette w/hash-browns and it was delicious! My husband had the biscuits and sausage gravy he said it was delicious as well!
It's a small town diner, not much to tell. Service is hit or miss cause it changes but mostly great service. The food is also hit or miss depending on the cook and how often it changes. The atmosphere is nice, I like the small town feel but they have a couple of booths that definitely need replacing as the backs are broken and lean waaay back, only way to stabilize is if someone is sitting on the other size and then its a battle between you and them..lol But overall we love it and it's our breakfast spot on the available weekends that we have.
The waitress is a shining light that can not overcome how awful our breakfast was. I will never go back. The hashbrowns were a scant amount and tasted liked they were cooked in old grease..my omelet had zero flavor with some kind of cheese that refused to melt.. inside or out.. even the butter on the toast had still not melted when I finished eating. I'm not sure of the brand of bacon but it's a hard no as well. I truly can't believe just how bad it was.. Good luck
We were there first time and I have to say we definitely come back, nice place, clean, good food and nice young waitress
Found this little gem because of the local paramedics. Home made foods with great service and staff. Small, but clean and tidy. On the corner of E. Clayton and N. Main st Dayton, Texas
This was my first time eating here it was in the afternoon when we went. The food was really good I got the Philly cheese steak omelet and the hubby got the sampler plate. The server was great she was very nice. We were happy customers it's a nice little restaurant we will definitely have to go back.
