See All ReviewsGross. Just wish I could give no stars. Staff was friendly and took a small percentage discount off our meal but the two of us who ordered the chicken strips gagged our way through a couple bites before giving up. Chicken strips is a joke of a description. They were maybe 3" long and a half inch thick. Gross. The fries were ok, but they ran out of curly fries and mixed them with normal ones after asking me first. Weird. My other daughter ordered the Cod and maybe ate half of the one filet. She ALWAYS orders and loves fish at any restaurant. My husband got the Wet Burito and said it was ok. Not sure where all the great reviews came from but we were more than disappointed and for ten bills a plate it was way overpriced. We dined at 5pm on a Friday evening.
Our waitress was very amicable and knew everything about the menu because her mom is the cook. Everything seems to be made from scratch, and it is phenomenal. Everyone in our party loved what they got, from the homemade pasty (including the crust!) to the delicious cod chowder. My meatloaf and mashed potatoes were top notch. My husband ordered a peanut butter cookie for dessert, and it was huge, soft, and outstanding. Fantastic!
This place has great breakfast. I had the corn beef skillet and my wife had the French toast. Everything was cooked to perfection. It is exactly as you would expect but tastes better. Friendly staff and a good environment. If I am passing through again for breakfast, this is the place I'm going. P.s. I was too hungry to get a picture of my delicious meal.
