3 weeks agoThe sunfish sandwich was big with two pieces but the breading was tasteless. Calmari was a bit over cook. Love the sand dollar fries. Will go back and try a steak.

a month agoWe have stopped out during Superbowl, Valentine's and Mother's day. They have fantastic specials, delicious food and created a fun place to celebrate and raise a beer 🍻. My daughter craves it and requests we stop back for the brisket burger. The prices are on point and the chef clearly knows what they are doing as the food never disappoints with a variety of specials. The only area I would improve is the service.

8 months agoAll 3 in our group ordered the filet special and it was the best steak we have ever had. Cooked to perfection with a delicious sauce, mashed potatoes and gourmet carrots. Uncommonly good food for those looking for something other than the usual bar food. Service was excellent too. We sat on the outdoor patio overlooking the lake so the atmosphere was amazing!

8 months agoMy wife and I were finally able to make it out to The Fishbowl. It has some menu items that we have been really wanting lately, so that was awesome. I thought the brisket burger was one of the best I've had in a long time. It's beautiful inside with a great atmosphere. Some people might remember it when it was "Curly's" but I think it's been completely redone. It's a short drive out of DL towards Park Rapids, but it's worth the 10 minutes, if you ask me. We also tried the bacon wrapped scallops and calamari and it was all VERY good. I can't wait to get back so I can try the ceviche!

9 months agoWowza! This place is a complete 180 of Curly’s. They did an excellent job of turning it into a completely new concept. Stopped by on a Saturday night, was VERY packed which had me a little worried about the type of experience we were going to have. But we left with nothing but great things to say about the Fishbowl! Food: Our table had the Ceviche, Calamari, Sticky Burgers, & the Brisket Burger. I love that they make their own version of fries, because you could tell they were fresh and well seasoned. So tasty! Burgers had plenty of flavor! Very impressed with the portions, flavor, and presentation of each item we ordered. Cocktails were fun, it’s nice to have an option like this where you can sip on a tropical drink with a killer view. Service: Best service we have received in a LONG time. Including restaurants in DL & Fargo. Literally every employee was pitching in to bring food & bus tables. Even with it being as packed as it was, the food came out so fresh & sooooo quickly! We were all surprised at how they managed to do that! I’m pretty sure about 4 different employees told us to have a great day or thanked us for stopping in as we made our way out, It makes a noticeable difference. Atmosphere. Fun decor, clean, open seating, awesome looking patio! Only complaint, and it’s not really a complaint, is that it was pretty loud. But it was a rainy afternoon on lake weekend/Saturday night, so that’s not shocking. Definitely give this place a try!

10 months agoRedesigned and expanded lake bar at Cotton lake ive been coming here since 1993. Lots of stuffed fish everywhere, hence the name. Gives you fomo to be at the beach or in the keys fishing, lol. Had $4 margaritas elderberry and mango, delicious! Friend had a caramel bulldog type drink. Service was awesome and the deck and the redecorating are really nice! Can't wait to try the new menu items on return!

11 months agoFinally a place near DL to get great quality food at very good prices! Sunset view is the best in the area, nice beach, kids play area. Can't believe how lucky we are to be on a lake with this type of restaurant. Huge patio, good outdoor seating. Something for everyone and it keeps getting better if that was even possible?! Oh, new favorite type of fries! Pics are brisket burger and sunfish sandwich. We subbed one order of fries for the summer salad which itself could be a meal. Overall just impressed. Well done. Ginelle is the absolute best server/human! Such a lucky find to match this place!

Edited 10 months agoUnreal food, phenomenal service, atmosphere is super cool!! Sunset views, new large deck, new menu, I mean this place is the spot. Finally someone in DL gets it. They don't price gouge, yet provide quality ingredients. Flatbreads are great, I e heard the burgers too. Perfectly cooked bacon wrapped scallops. Brisket Mac is just on a different level. Once live music starts this place is going to the spot. So excited this is in our community!! And the soups!!!!!!!
