So honest review. The sides was amazing which was potato salad and the Mac n cheese. Both was wonderful zero complaints. Got the three meat plate with ribs that was dry but a great glaze, meat definitely did not fall off the bone. The brisket which was also fairly dry and hard in spots. And finally the pulled pork that even with bread was rather hard to eat. Not what I was expecting for my first experience of Texas bbq. The service was great and gave an old time feel. Just wish the food would have hit the marks of the other reviews I read. Also the kids meals while they are cheap it's a very small portion option. I understand kids meal but both of my older ones had to eat when we got back to our hotel. For the price was not worth it to me.
The best BBQ and amazing people around. Everything on the menu is amazing and it's all top quality BBQ .....you won't be disappointed..STOP IN ASAP !
We got a to-go order dinner for 5 adults and 2 kids. As hungry as everyone was, we tore into it soon as we got it home, so we didn't snap any before pictures. The ribs were very tasty and fell off the bone. The sticky rib sauce was something I've never had before, seemed unusual compared to the standard BBQ sauce most places use...but OH MY GOSH it is soooo good! It not only was delicious on the ribs but would be great on chicken, pork chops, probably any meat! The brisket was tender and flavorful with good smoke on it; delicious on its own, and their BBQ sauce kicked it up some notches. The Mac and cheese is how God intended it to be and hits the spot. The green beans are tasty and with the little bits of potato and the seasonings...I was sad when we ran out! Finished off with some banana pudding....and everyone was full, fat and happy! Definitely will return here!
