4 months agoThe staff treats you like a movie star. The food is delicious and affordable too. atmosphere is very family-friendly. The service was excellent. Highly recommended.

7 months agoI found prices high for lunch. They don't have lunch specials. It was a rough day so I treated myself to my yearly Margarita-without even asking the price. My Fajita lunch was $18, the drink was $12!. The server was a nice young woman who , when we requested , turned the LOUD music down 2x

10 months agoWent her for dinner and there was a weird and unpleasant odor. Inside was hot and the ceiling fans just seemed to be blowing hot air. There were no other patrons. The menu has colorful stickers inside showing the increased prices. The menu is limited. Not like a normal Mexican restaurants broken down by appetizers, chicken, steak etc. I was really not wanting anything I saw on the menu but I was there so I tried the chicken burrito. The peppers were crunchy but the onions long and soft. I dobt believe there was any cheese inside. We got a small bowl of queso it tasted straight out of a jar and the chips tasted stale. Overall not impressed.

2 years agoDelicious food. We were in town to watch the Buckeyes and saw this place was highly rated. It's a bit out of the way as far a as where we were staying, near the OSU campus, but well worth the drive out. You can tell the place is totally authentic Mexican food, the flavors were on point, everything including the tortillas were made fresh, and generous portions for great prices. Service was very friendly and prompt, we were also given complimentary guacamole (which was delicious). If I lived in Columbus I'd have a hard time not eating here every weekend. Highly, highly recommend, best Mexican food I've had in a very long time.

Edited a year agoNicely stewed tender beef birria with handmade corn tortillas ($16). They offer flour tortillas but it’s not handmade. Complimentary chips and salsa. Will be returning for their other dishes. 6/10/2025 Their queso birria was packed with goodness but for $18 was kind of steep.

2 years agoI stopped for lunch today! Oh my goodness! This place is amazing! The food was fabulous! The staff was top notch! The inside is so authentic! This won’t be my last time to eat here! I highly recommend!!

3 years agoHad an absolutely lovely experience earing here on a Saturday night. I haven't had such an authentically hospitable dine-in experience in a long time. Amazing service, surprise tastes of new dishes, a visit from the chef, alongside great food. We ordered the carnitas and birria and also tried the Pollo con Chipotle y crema, which the chef was testing as a new menu item. The beef birria was the favorite, but was more along the lines of barbacoa in style from my pov. The refried beans were well-season and a great consistency, which is rare to find. All dishes were very good. The housemade corn tortillas were incredible. We also were gifted their carrot cake, which was lovely, trifle style, and topped with a candied pecan. You won't find a kinder team offering quality, comforting Jalisco food anywhere. The restaurant was super clean, colorful, and comfortable.

3 years agoThis is definitely authentic Mexican food! The handmade tortilla is a plus. Fast and amazing customer service.
