We were winding down for the night and needed a good late-night bite, so we decided to stop by The Hangout—and we’re so glad we did! The bartender working Wednesday night (wish I caught her name!) was absolutely amazing. She crafted the most delicious custom drinks for us—just the way we like them: strong, but smooth enough that you’d never know it. 👍🏿👍🏿 We also ordered the gizzards and pork fritters—both were flavorful and cooked to perfection. If you're looking for a relaxed vibe, great service, and tasty food and drinks after hours, this is your spot!
The Thursday steak night was fantastic. Quality food for $12.99.
The food and service was fantastic!! Great food and our server was really nice.
We called ahead and asked if they could host a large party of 30 or so people. They said yes no problem at all. They said they will start setting up for us. We showed up and the place wasn’t busy at all. There was adequate staffing to accommodate the people there and our party that ended up being 26 people. The bartender came over to get our drink order and that was where it ended. No server would come help us out. We ended up having one of our people ask for a notebook. She took everyone’s order from our group and turned it in. We had to get our own refills all night long. The bar tender was the only one that was willing to help. The other waitresses sat back and kept talking or on their phones the entire time. We were told that the waitresses were intimidated by large groups so they refused to wait on us. It took us 1 hour and 45 min before the food started coming out. The kitchen staff did great. The food tasted awesome. Unfortunately the lack of service really turned us off. We are an easy going group that was there to enjoy dinner after our kids softball games. We understand large groups are intimidating but we always try to make it super easy on the wait staff. We received the bill and because of the size of our party they added an auto gratuity. I thought that was crazy they did this since we had to take our own order and had to get our own refills. We would have enjoyed a lot more drinks and increased our ticket sale if we had someone to wait on us which would have lead to a waitress or two making a lot of money. There is a softball/baseball facility down the road from them so you would think the owner would want the business from those events every weekend but I guess it’s money that he doesn’t want to collect.
The catfish was overly salty. They didn't do anything to make it right. Not even offer us to be able to order another meal. They wouldn't even tend our table after that. No refills no napkins. They would check every table around us accept us. Funny part is the waitress that had the attitude was. Supposedly the manager when we asked to talk to the manager. So next step would be amazing to talk to the owners so they know how their manager runs things
Never have I had a more pleasant member of the wait staff helping us. Food was wonderful. The compound is cool with a playground and a sand volleyball spot.
The food was really good, and portions are generous. Our server was friendly and did a good job. The only negative thing I can say is that the menu's were a bit gross covered in greasy fingerprints, and needed cleaned.
Small country place with a bar, country style buffet and large hall space. Our server was attentive and nice.
