See All ReviewsI ordered a beef fillet with mushrooms, side of mashed potatoes and a salad. All were great, with the exception of the steak.Im not sure if it was even a beef fillet. It certainly wasn’t the traditional shape and it was of lower grade quality. This is disappointing because they normally sell good grades of food. We make this a destination dinner every time we’re in town-which is every 3-4 weeks.
First time here and we had a great meal and drinks. The service was great and the owner, John, came by and greeted us. The restaurant is clean and well kept. I had the breaded pork chop, sweet potato with cinnamon butter and hush puppies. My wife had the New York strip with candied carrots and baked potato. She had a sangria that had some brandy in it and she had more than one. We will definitely be back!
I can’t say enough good things about this place. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is just unreal, especially the patio at night overlooking the lake, all lit up and peaceful. It’s honestly one of the most beautiful dining spots around. The food never misses. I’ve been here more times than I can count, and not once have I been disappointed. And the chicken wings? Hands down the best I’ve ever had in my life, perfect every single time. The staff make the experience even better. Everyone is so sweet, welcoming, and attentive, which makes you want to keep coming back. Prices are very reasonable too, especially for the quality you’re getting. Living in a small country town, most people drive an hour out to find a place like this but this hidden gem is right here, just 10–15 minutes away. If you haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out.
