For the money, there is no better BBQ place in a 100 mile radius. I'm from Ohio, and had all the big BBQ chains, including a lot of local BBQ trucks. Mission BBQ is top-tier in my opinion, but the Trough topped it. The amount of food I got for $15 was superb. The food is exceptional. We'll be back very soon. Highly highly recommend.
Very cute and welcoming. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable. Meat was extremely tender with a few different sauces to choose from. My only complaint was the food under tables. We were seated and I was careful where I placed my feet, as there was quite a bit of food on the floor under our table. I noticed other tables the same way. Otherwise, it was really good and we will try coming back again.
I got the small brisket and unfortunately it was not all that good. Great smokey smell and taste but it was dry and a bit overcooked. The beans are really good, but the cooked cabbage can use a little spice or vinegar at least.
