See All ReviewsFirst time eating there. Saw the advertisement in the hotel. So glad we decided to come and try it out. Highly recommend it. The food and the service were phenomenal. Highly recommend eating here. You will not go wrong.
My husband and I went to check out this place for his birthday. Unfortunately the only positive I can really say is that after noting that I didn’t eat my meal, they removed it from our bill. We started with the loaded nachos, which had what I can only describe as large, cold dollops of a cheese-like substance on it. Despite that, I thought I would try it. My second bite included a rotten tomato, which ended my interest. I chose the BBQ sandwich, which was the Wednesday special. The BBQ, I’m guessing from a can? Looked like a pureed brown mess slopped on a week old smashed bun. The cabbage salad tasted like straight vinegar, with no other discernible flavor. The fries, which were deep fried, not my favorite, were at least edible. My husband ordered the shrimp basket which looked like it was dumped straight out of a bag from the freezer. He didn’t even finish his meal, which is very unlike my husband. I believe this place could be a gem. Great little concert stage, and while the decor needs freshened up, plenty of space. They would be much better off if they came up with a much smaller menu, of freshly cooked food. A selection of apps, a few sandwiches, good burgers, handcut fries & chips. They could be raking it in! Edited to add… I have attached a picture of the pulled pork sandwich as advertised. I do wish that I had taken a pic of what I was served. The picture should be the goal. Nice fresh fluffy bun, toasted, true shredded pork with a nice squeeze of bbq sauce dripping over the top. I encourage you to serve something closer to this, and promise you will have better sales because of it. I understand it was Wednesday, but in the 1hr+ we were there, at a normal dinner hour, you had 6 guests come and go total. I am absolutely certain you would love to have more business than that.
FANTASTIC and we are food snobs. We like great tasting food. Very friendly staff, food was great, but they lied, we got the Captains platter for 2, we cold not eat it all. Very clean place.
