a month agoNice little place where locals go for good food and service. Not some big chain diner. Spend your money there and it stays local. I love these kinds of places.

a month agoStopped here on our way to Big Bend, never been here before but was glad we stopped here for breakfast. The Milky Say had two very fluffy pancakes. It also came with two eggs two slices of bacon and two sausage patties. All was great! The waitress was service with a smile. If your going by Junction this is a must stop and eat place.

2 months agoI had fried catfish with waffle fries. Catfish was tender, lightly breaded and generous. Waffle fries were wonderful and lightly seasoned. My wife had baked ham either augratin potato’s and side salad, $10.99.

5 months agoFirst time eating here. I thought it was just ice cream. I had the Parmesan garlic wings. They were fixed perfectly for me. No breading very tender and adequate amount of sauce. My wife had the hamburger steak and it was thick and tender. She also had the fried okra thin layer of breading you could still see the light green showing through. They came out hot and delicious. Highly recommended

5 months agoReally great cheeseburger. It was made fresh, juicy and the meat to bun ratio was perfectly proportionate. We stopped here without knowing anything about it. So glad we did. Service was friendly and the price was perfect. Thanks Milky Way!

a year agoSimply the absolute best breakfast I have had from a restaurant in years. I'm pretty sure the chef is cooking with magic. I ordered the Milky Way breakfast which consists of two bacon slices, two sausage patties, two eggs, to pancakes, and hash browns. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing!! The ladies that work there and the owner, Willard were very friendly!! This will be my go to restaurant anytime I am out here in Junction staying at the state park for astrophotography. Can't recommend enough! Going to be printing out one of my Milky Way photos from the local State Park for them to hang in the restaurant!

Edited a year agoThe Milky Way is a small mom and pop restaurant nestled on the main drag of Junction, Texas. The food is delicious and simple. No fancy food names, just good food! Our waitress was super polite and very informative when we asked questions about certain meals. There is plenty of parking here and I highly recommend this place for your next meal if you're in the area!! Update: Passing through on our travels, we decided to stop here for lunch once again. Still, great food!! Our server was the same young lady from 3 months previously and again she provided great service and hospitality with a smile!!

2 years agoSmall and cozy diner here in Junction. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. They put the gravy under the Chicken Fried Steak, which I’ve never seen before but it was good. A bit greasy but I ate every bite. Would definitely recommend.
