I visited Hot Dog Factory for the first time today. My initial experience was a very positive one. There are a lot of Hot Dog types on offer from the Detroit Coney, to the Burnt Ends Brisket Dog, to the Carolina Slaw Dog. There was even a vegetarian Dog option. I ordered the Taco Dog, which features chili, cheese, tomato, guacamole, and chips. I particularly enjoyed my experience and look forward to sampling more of the menu.
Saw this place the other day, thought it would be a diamond in the rough. Food is mid, soda size is crazy small, super rude. Paid 40 some dollars for some soggy fries, over done burger, super mid chicken sandwich. Plus left a 5 dollar tip. You guys messed up my order. It was 2 meals and a sandwich by itself. Why would I order 2 meals and one sandwich by itself and then not get the fries for the burger? And then argue with me about and then want to charge me for the fries after paying 40 some dollars to a dead business. I tried, was super polite. Never again.
Did not buy a hot dog, I was in the mood for some fries so we ordered a "basket " of fries which was the size of a small order in most places. The fries were "raw" fries or carnival fries and were the worst we have ever had. Not crispy outside and underdone inside. I asked that they be made over and they did without complaint, they were still horrible so we threw them out and walked away. I truly believe that everyone in the fast food business has no clue as to what they are doing.
