4 months agoSo close to home. Had to try it. Glad that I did. Wings were perfect. I had mild and my wife had the lemon pepper flavor. The steak and cheese was just as good. The wife had a chicken Philly said the same. Definitely will be back.

7 months agoWe tried this spot a year and a half ago and had a much better experience this time. There has definitely been improvement on the service. The tater tots were warm and crunchy. Could’ve used another minute in the fryer an a touch more salt. But the portion was very large, and we really enjoyed them. The Original Hut was our favorite of the sandwiches we ordered. The meat was tender, the pepper jack cheese warm and melty, and we added jalapeños that gave a nice kick. The chicken Philly was a bit disappointing as the cheese was tooooo much. The chicken was cooked well though, and they added sweet peppers on the side for us to add. We also noticed there was a customer dining in that had gotten a few mushrooms on a sandwich that they hadn’t asked for, and both the front of house employee AND the cook checked with the customers to insure they didn’t want the sandwich remade. Overall a great experience, with some area for improvement.

8 months agoI had a Philly cheese steak and it was so good (like the ones at Philly Connection). I really enjoyed the onion rings. They weren't too oily and just right. The wings and fries were good as well. The service was top tier as well. The people behind the counter were helpful with suggestions and placing your order in your hand. This was the first time eating there but won't be the last!

a year agoBest Philly cheesesteak I have ever had. Coming from CO, there is nothing there that can touch this place. My husband said, "this is our new spot". Prices are gr8 too. Children said, "I love it". Hard to do with 3 picky palates.

Edited 10 months agoFirst time:Ordered online through grub hub and the order was done on time. Drove 25 mins and still hot, because it was wrapped up good. We had three types of cheesesteaks, onion rings, fries and pickles and they were all good. The cheese on the sandwich was perfect. Definitely inflated prices though? It’s a hole in the wall with restaurant prices, so it’ll be a once in a while spot for dinner. A couple months of going/Updated review: No idea why but my sandwich was the size of a kids meal. See the comparison picture with ranch container. It was about the size of 4 of them lined up. A you can see my older pic too to compare. The sizes have gone down. The fries were barely cooked. An I ordered at 7:10. It said ready for 7:50. Arrived at 7:52 (25min drive). An we didn’t get our food until 8:35? An there was a lot of other people waiting inside and in their cars. Pic 1- a regular plain Philly from months ago Pic 2- a regular plain Philly from this trip There’s no time control here. So be prepared to wait at least 30 mins for food.

a year agoThis was a small little spot but the food was so so so good. We had a philly with mushrooms, mango habanero wings and tots. The sandwich was so big and absolutely delicious. The wings were perfect and the tots were so good and crunchy. We will definitely be back. My only complaint as a bigger girl was that I couldn't fit in their booths and the only chairs at the window I could sit in were definitely made for smaller bottoms. But the food was so so worth it.

Edited 3 years agoUPDATE: I had the best meal from there recently!! The cook was female and phenomenal! Wait times are expected now, because the staff has improved greatly and food is so fresh and cooked to perfection. Will be ordering wings for the Superbowl and posting updated pics as well.... Food is great and good help is currently hard to come by I understand. A recommendation would be proper staff training.
