3 weeks agoRecently on a visit to Sacramento, we stopped by The Philly for lunch and were very glad we did. I had their classic cheesesteak and it was delicious: the beef was seasoned just right, the cheesy sauce was tasty and, there was the perfect amount of onions and peppers to finish off a mouth-watering bite. The service was friendly and the atmosphere casual. I would definitely go back and would heartily recommend The Philly. If you're visiting the State Capitol Building and want to grab a great lunch, visit The Philly!

3 weeks ago10/10 best burger I’ve had in Sacramento Ca. I stopped by on May 23 2026 and I ordered the Double Cheeseburger & Fries and a Bavarian pretzel. The burger was cooked just right not dry at all. Well stacked not excessive use of condiment’s and a soft bun felt like air was holding it together and well seasoned. The staff very professional and helpful on recommendations and the eating area was clean with great music. Overall experience 10/10 Food 10/10 Customer service 10/10 I will be back when I return to the west coast.

a month agoI've been here a couple of times now and it never disappoints. The food is amazing, especially the surf and turf cheese steak. Garlic fries are amazing and the Bavarian pretzel was perfectly crisp on the outside and warm and fluffy on the inside. This place is great and I just properly met the owner Rob and he's great too. 🙌🏽

Edited a week agoA Cheesesteak Delight I recently indulged in a Philly cheesesteak that was very tasty & delicious. The sandwich boasted perfectly grilled steak, tender and juicy, enveloped in melted provolone cheese that added a rich, creamy texture. Robert & the staff were very nice, friendly & very pleasant. We always received an excellent service. I love the Patio setting. Highly recommended!

a month agoI had a good experience when I went into The Philly, I tried the vegan friendly plant based cheese steak, the peppers, and onions were fresh and grilled just right where they had a good crisp. A great option for vegan friendly visiting downtown Sacramento

a month agoTheir burgers are awesome! Fries are cooked just right! The staff is awesome and helpful. They have outdoor seating which is nice to sit and watch people walk by. I love their wall art! This is my go-to spot for a hamburgers in Sacramento. Highly recommended

3 months ago10/10 Absolutely the best cheesesteak I’ve had in Sacramento! The bread was perfectly soft with just the right amount of chew, the steak was tender and flavorful, and the cheese was melted to perfection. Every bite tasted fresh and authentic. The portions were generous, the service was friendly and fast, and the whole place had a great, welcoming vibe. You can tell they take pride in what they do. If you’re craving a legit Philly cheesesteak in Sacramento, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be coming back! 🙌🔥 thank you Beto .

4 months agoI was visiting for the first time and on a field trip with students from San Diego. Roberto took care of us and was extremely friendly and helpful. He was also very welcoming and inviting. The wait for food was a bit longer than ideal and the food wasn’t that good, but the staff and service were unbeatable. If you’re looking for something to eat, someone to talk to and want get a smile on your face, please stop by.
