First time we went there for dinner. Clean and pleasant bar/restaurant with tables and booths available. Good menu with more than your typical bar burger and fries. I had the Greek Village Salad. Very good and was glad they used kalamata olives, not black olives. My husband had the pork chops which were juicy and tender. I had the lemon rice soup and my husband had the chicken noodle soup. Both were good. Will go back again and try other items on the menu. Lest I forget, they pour a generous glass of wine and serve a very decent margarita.
The perch is lightly battered and the homemade tartar sauce is light and flavorful! The service is great and the owner came over to make sure everything was to our liking. Can't wait to go on a Thursday for the Polish dishes!
I was not really satisfied with the meal I had here. Maybe there's other good options on the menu, but I got the grilled perch(can also be batter fried), and my friend got a cheeseburger. My friend didn't care much for his cheeseburger, and my meal was tasteless. There wasn't any spice or even salt on my fish so it was hard to eat. The mashed potatoes were ok but they could use something extra as well. The waitress was kind though and it's a nice and comfortable ambiance.
So happy this place is back in action. Some of the best lemon rice soup I've ever had.... the saganaki is wonderful as well. Service is always spectacular and I love the fact that the owners walk around making sure everyone is happy with their meals. Everything we've ever eaten here has been absolutely delicious.
This place is an amazing little hole-in-the wall! They've got a great cuisine combination (Greek/American) and they make nearly all their food from scratch. They have specials almost every day of the week, and even a Polish food night. Drink selections are great. They have craft and domestic beers on tap, and even more in bottles and cans. They have a vast liquor selection and even serve wine. Their food is quite tasty. I would definitely recommend doing a hamburger if you're in the mood for them; put a fried egg on it, and its served with delicious house-made chips. The atmosphere is very cozy and there's always a handful of friendly local regulars. TVs are placed strategically and also at the bar if you want to get a quick bite by yourself. Definitely a great place for a meal. Bring your family and your friends and have a good time!
Pleasantly surprised. The location looks like a typical pub 'n grub, but the breaded walleye was extremely good. The breading was light and had some Italian style seasoning that added nicely to the flavor. It was also served with a garlicky amogue. Crispy, breaded fries were also a nice side. Great meal and a good price.
Went in on a Thursday, they stayed open late just for our group! Thursdays are polish days, and let me tell you they know how to cook polish! The polish sampler was top notch! I'm a fan of sauerkraut and it was delicious! Service was great, extremely friendly staff. If I could give it more than 5 stars I absolutely would! If you've never been, you need to go!
Great place to go to in Harrison Township. The bartender Walter is exceptional. Your wishes are his command. The food is good. Had the ribs special. Exceptional. Burgers perfect for late food and the French onion soup is always a repeat. Wait staff is friendly. Early karaoke at 6:00 on Thursdays, 9:00 on Saturdays.
