Disappointed with the Food, but Service Was Great We recently visited The Pit Stop BBQ for the first time and, unfortunately, were not impressed with the food. I ordered the ribs with two sides, one of which was mac and cheese. The ribs were tough, dry, and didn’t fall off the bone like well-cooked ribs should. The portion was also surprisingly small—just three bones with very little meat. The mac and cheese was another disappointment. After just a few small bites, it had a strange aftertaste that made it inedible. For $16, the quality and portion size simply didn’t justify the price. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the service itself was great. It’s unfortunate the food didn’t live up to the same standard. We really wanted to like this place, but based on this experience, we’re not likely to return.
So sad I only discovered this place right as I’m about to move. Everything here is amazing and seasoned to perfection. Best potato salad I’ve ever had and my family says the same. Really good comfort food for a VERY good price! Wish I could give 100 stars. Atmosphere is cozy and the customer service is great, and he said he delivers.
The food was delicious! Great background music, small inside area with a small outside area as well, good service.
