a month agoWe’re visiting VA from KY and this was our first eat. The owner (I’m assuming) was so kind, and even told us some events happening in the area. And gave me info on the burger which was absolutely delicious

a month agoI got the house made cheese sticks, crab cake burger, and red onion rings and WOW!!! All three are delicious! Robust with flavor, fresh, and hit the spot!!! 10/10 you must get in here and try it!!! The Dole Whip is very natural and Deeeeeelicous!!! The service is actually amazing with very friendly staff and even the cook is caring. These people love what they do and are making an art with the food they are serving! Thanks for the great food and see you guys soon!

4 months agoWe came in at 3:00pm and had a quick bite. The owner was kind and attentive and the food was delicious. Plus it was Valentine’s Day so they gave us free chocolate covered strawberries. Would definitely come again.

Edited 6 months agoQuite possibly the SMALLEST restaurant I've had the pleasure of dining in, but they make the most of their little space! We found this place while on vaca, after ditching our original dinner plans. It was a short walk from the hotel and it's only a block from the oceanfront. The service was quick and friendly. The space small & quaint. She ordered the crab cake sandwich and thought it was spectacular. 🤩 I had the Neptune King... Without a doubt one of the BEST burgers, that I've had in a long time! A two patty smash burger with a handful of toppings, on a premium bun, with delish fries 😁 Do yourself a favor and check out Raven - you won't regret it!

10 months agoThe Raven in Virginia Beach is a small, no-frills spot with limited seating, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in flavor. The service was warm and friendly, making the whole experience feel welcoming. I ordered the crab cake sandwich, and wow -- it was incredible! The portion was huge, with tender, flaky crab that wasn't packed into a dense patty like so many others. Just look at all that crab overflowing the bun!!! The special sauce added a burst of flavor without overpowering the fresh crab. Paired with perfectly crispy, golden onion rings, it was a meal I'm still thinking about. If you want great seafood in a cozy, unpretentious setting, The Raven is absolutely worth a visit.

a year agoI recently stopped by a casual little spot that had been recommended to me more than once, and I’m so glad I finally did. The burger I had there was nothing short of fantastic. From the first bite, I knew I was in for something special. Both patties were beautifully smashed, juicy, and cooked perfectly to a medium—just the right amount of pink in the center. You could tell it was freshly ground beef, seasoned just enough to let the meat shine. The bun was warm and held everything together without getting soggy, even with the over easy egg included. What really took it over the top was the balance of toppings. Crisp lettuce, fresh tomato, melty cheese, and a tangy house-made sauce that brought everything together. They even added bacon and their special sauce, which gave a sweet contrast. Service was laid-back but friendly—exactly what you want in a casual place. And the price? Totally fair for the quality of food. If you’re craving a burger that doesn’t mess around—no gimmicks, just solid ingredients done right—this place should be at the top of your list. Highly recommend!

a year agoFood was amazing! They recommended the Blackened Salmon Alfredo, and it was even better than I expected. 20/10, will definitely eat it again. My husband got the Neptune burger, said it was also really good and rated it 10/10. The Staff; Josh, Megan, Arrow, Corey, Marquis and Crystal were amazing!! Very hospitable and did more than some of the fanciest restaurants we've been too. Also feels very family friendly! I highly recommend this place to everyone! Great for the whole family.
