I love an old school restaurant and bar for that matter. This place is both. We sat at the bar and was presented with an uncomplicated menu loaded with Claris American dishes. I had the ribeye steak,fries,corn on the cob with salad. My girlfriend has the ribs,with veggies,and baked potato. She was happy with her meal,the ribs have a nice sweet sauce, and a fantastic char to them( I tasted them) The hand cut fries were thick,and perfect for dipping,the corn was suprisenly sweet for being out of season. The star of the meal was my steak,cooked perfectly, thick and juicy. Just marvelous flavor. Waitstaff was prompt, attentive and friendly. I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat if your looking for a great steak dinner.

Watch your bills and double check menu prices. It absolutely pains me to write this because this was one of my favorite spots and I had to delete my original review. Tonight will be my last night going there due to them over charging me. Normally you would just bring it up but it keeps on happening. Their manager informed me that all of their steaks are $5 extra but nobody told me anything or even bothered to inform me until after I brought it up and paid noticing that my bill was significantly higher than what I had ordered. I wish I could say this is an isolated incident but I actually went back to review all the times I've eaten there. I only get two items, the tuna and the prime rib. One of these items I've paid four different prices for but I only get the same order on these every time I go. I do not mind paying extra because in my opinion their food and service is worth it. But not informing the customer is almost borderline stealing from them because their prices for what you pay versus their prices on their menu are not the same. The worst thing about this is they will not tell you it feels like they're being sneaky with that. Double check your bill and what you order and keep track of the menu prices. Unfortunately, based on me looking back it seems like I've discovered a pattern with this place so I will not be coming back.

First time here! We really enjoyed it! My husband had the strip steak. He said it was was perfectly cooked with a tender juicy interior and lovely exterior crust. I stole a bite, and he was absolutely correct! I'm picky about steak, but I would eat this one every time. I had the king rack of ribs. The sauce had a really nice sweet tang to it, and the ribs were so tender, they literally fell off the bone! Superior quality with a minimum of fat. Our salads were crisp and the veggie side was just right, cooked, but with a bit of crunch not mush. We also enjoyed the potatoes. We both brought home leftovers - i have enough for another meal. It is a small place, and it isn't fancy, but don't be put off by it's simplicity; the food was delicious and the people are extremely friendly! We will definitely be back.
