The waitress was wonderful and I loved the decor/atmosphere. Very cozy. It was on the expensive side for the food we received. The Rueben had good meat but sauerkraut wasn’t sour enough and bread was a little soggy. The fettuccine with broccoli was good but needed more flavor. Broccoli was cooked nice and tender.
The food was OK. Was excited to try considering I am always reading about the chef specials online. I was very disappointed to learn they don't actually have a chef. They adopted the persona from the previous owners whom didn't have a chef either. They use the term just so they can charge more.
Nice place to eat in Ligonier. Has a wonderful view on their porch and the decor is excellent. Food is a little pricey but generally worth it. Drinks are great and so is the service. Staff were friendly and the wait for food was relatively short. We were seated almost immediately. Definitely worth checking out if you’re ever in the area.
I love these mom and pop restaurants. Great food, great service, and the atmosphere is perfect! Looking forward to coming back again!
Service was excellent. We got.our drinks and food timely with an appropriate amount of "checking in" on us throughout the dinner. Food was very well cooked and put together, some of the items could have used a bit more salt but that's just a personal preference. We ordered: - muscles: delicious! Highly recommend. - fried zucchini: crispy and tasty. - ceasar salad with salmon: great flavor, salmon cooked well. - chicken tuscany: very well flavored. Delicious. Mashed potatoes, we made better by adding more butter and Asiago cheese! - angel pasta with chicken and alfredo sauce: was ok. Flavor wasn't there. - Nantucket cod bake: great dish presentation. Sweet potato fries were well cooked. I would go back again. It was a fun night out with my family.
Entre was very good. The whole reason we went was for the crab pretzel that was posted online but were disappointed to find out it was no longer available. Also the view was great!
Really a great local place to dine with a great view. Nice local atmosphere. I have stopped in several times & everyone seems to operate as a team (great service)! Dakota is a excellent waitress. Food has been spot on; consistent! St Louis ribs w/sauce is amazing. All sides are fresh tasteing & non typical-enjoyable. 🍄 & French onion soups are fantastic. 🐟- black and battered or baked all done perfect. A wide range of different appetizers are great. Spicy chicken sausage pasta really good. You also can pick your pasta between angel hair linguine or penne. I really can't tell u that anything I ate was bad or bad tasting. Dinner rolls are 👍.
My husband and I were in a bind for our anniversary and had to last minute find somewhere to go, I'll admit the name deterred me initially but I was pleasantly surprised. We had a nice table overlooking nearby Creek.. they also have outdoor seating. We had fantastic meal my husband raved over the crab cake and I had the sampler (Tuesday special) both very good. But the desserts were amazing! The cheesecake was delicious and huge and the coconut cream pie with macadamia nut crust pie was made locally.
