We stumbled upon this place on our way to Philadelphia. We were hesitant at first, but we were completely wrong! It's a great local spot with delicious, homemade-tasting food—especially the clam chowder and sweet onion cucumber pasta salad if you can catch them on the menu. The staff and guests were incredibly welcoming. We truly loved the food and the atmosphere. A true jewel in the WV mountains!
I went there for the first time on May 8,2026 I visited this restaurant for the first time last night and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. We went to the bar to order because we were unfamiliar with how the restaurant worked, and instead of helping us, the server was extremely rude and dismissive. We simply had questions since it was our first visit, but we were treated with disrespect the entire interaction. It got to the point where we felt so uncomfortable that we decided to leave without ordering. I’ve never been treated that poorly at a restaurant/bar before. Very disappointing experience.
We love this place owners are so friendly. Food is great, we go there all the time from our camp at big bear. Eat, drink and relax and win some money!
