This was our second time having dinner here. Last year it was a great experience with great service even though the filet mignon was lacking seasoning and flavor. Fast forward to our most recent experience last night for dinner, our table had no oils or salt and pepper but the first red flag was our waiter didn’t even introduce himself or have any basic hospitality, had no personality, disappeared for half of the actual dinner, didn’t check up on anything that came to the table. Very off putting and weird vibes the whole time. Please train the male waiter with locs. As far as the food goes, the Caesar salad was good. The bone in ribeye had no flavor whatsoever. The dessert was decent which is hard to mess up. We now understand why the service we had was lacking, they automatically put a 20% gratuity on the bill which is a huge turnoff. Great atmosphere, unfortunately the food and service we experienced didn’t reflect that.

Gorgeous venue overlooking the beach, with stylish design and a refined clientele. Perfect for a relaxing dinner or a few drinks—an all-around awesome experience. Setai Resort truly has it all: a beautiful pool, beachfront bar, and an upscale fine dining restaurant. In my opinion, it’s one of the most luxurious choices in Miami. They even offer a few different bottles of kosher wine, which is a rare and thoughtful touch.
