We arrived at closing time and they welcomed us in. My dad really loves soup beans and cornbread. They fixed us up with extra cornbread and a little side of their pasta salad to sample. Love the attention and customer service! We will be back for breakfast soon.
Today was the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant which sucks because I've had good experiences before. We sat there for an hour and a half and never even got food. They came out once and told us they were out of one of the things we ordered. They cooked food specially for 2 other people and moved them in front of everyone. Then they gave mine and my wifes food to another table about 10 minutes later they came out and said they were out of something else we ordered and the sad thing is the poor waitress was sent out by the owner to tell us instead of her coming out. I normally wouldn't leave a bad review like this after one bad experience but this experience was just absolutely horrible.
It is always friendly in this restaurant. Staff is great. Had to stand a long time to get a clean table. Only one server on the floor doing orders, clearing and cleaning tables. Food was good as always. Love the pickled Beets.
