See All ReviewsFirst time trying Three-D’s and I was honestly disappointed. I ordered the jerk chicken and the “jerk sauce” wasn’t really a sauce — it had a weird flavor and didn’t bring that bold, spicy kick you expect from authentic jerk. The chicken itself tasted more grilled than jerked, with very little seasoning or heat. The food wasn’t bad overall, just missing that real jerk flavor and spice that makes it stand out. I was hoping for more depth and heat. Might give it another try, but first visit didn’t hit like I expected.
Customer service was great. The place looked clean from what I could see. I ordered the oxtails, chicken and beef patty. The oxtails were tender and flavorful but they had more fat than meat so for me was it wasn't worth the price. The chicken was good but not the best jerk I've ever had...it was just a tad bit dry for me. The Mac and cheese had no cheese, no flavor and no love in it. The cabbage and sweet potato were just okay. It seemed like the sides are just an after thought. If Im being honest I didn't tatse a reason to go back.
Just ordered thru grubhub and it allowed you to substitute mac and cheese for one of the ones that come with it. I put in all caps "NO RED BEANS AND RICE I DO NOT EAT IT. " mac and cheese substitute. Why did both my dinners I ordered come with red beans and rice I don't eat. Either they cant read or they don't care. Either way won't be order thru grubhub. I see I have to be in person for my food to be right.
