See All ReviewsIm in my 30s and i've been eaten pizza here since i was a small kid. I love this place, and everytime i come to the swap shop, I ALWAYS grab my 2 slices. Its a must have pizza.
The man preparing the food used his bare hands. When asked a simple question, proceeded to throw item asked for at me with a mega attitude. Not pleased
First I would like to say is that if you’re looking for Italian food , Tic Tac Dough is pretty much the only option inside the Swap Shop. You got your regular slices pep or cheese, Sicilian and this inverted pizza that has sausage cheese and a bottom crust on top. There’s wings and other items available but I DONT go to a pizzeria for wings. That’s like going to Burger King to get a hot dog and complaining yikes! If you like bready like home made dough Sicilian pizza get this style. Topped with sweet but not too sweet sauce with a layer of regular pizza cheese. As for freshness most pizzerias re-heat premade pizzas this is what this place is, unless you order a whole pie I don’t see why they would go out of their way to make the slices from scratch , you’re at a flea market you don’t want Caribbean food/Hispanic food You have this , meat balls subs and pasta Stugatz. You can’t go wrong with a regular slice but sometimes I like the thick chewy style pizza reminds me of my grandmothers home made bread from Argentina. This is the closest I get to have that inside texture so I go all the way from Margate to get this style of pizza. As for the ingredients I would say it tastes like street style pizzeria , you just left the cold weather outside somewhere in Jersey and your in the mood for ingredients that better be chosen by Italian owners. Which they are the owners look Italian looks like a family owned restaurant, really tall Italian fellow and his wife and younger staff that look like they can be their sons. Very nice customer service they greet you and don’t ignore you if you need utensils , cup of ice or even a cup of sauce on the side with a smile + and I’m the type of guest to ask for a fork and knife like I’m going to eat in a gold building somewhere in New York. Every time I spawn at the Swap Shop I find myself defualt-ly going to Tic Tc Dough Pizza.
