a year agoIncredible food. Saved us on an impromptu overnight layover. Best chicken tikka masala’s I’ve had, and it was in a wrap. Must go. VERY small seating area, but incredibly friendly.

a year agoFilthiest place on earth. Bathroom is worst than NYC subway bathroom. Over priced compared to quality. This will be the last place I ever go again.

2 years agoThe service was good. Food came out in like less than ten minutes. But chicken masala had half a gallon oil. Too bland and tasteless. Too pricy for a small bowl. Nans were freshly made. No rice and salad were provided. At least the tea was good. They accept credit card with a high processing fee.

3 years agoWow! We are so surprised there are so many high ratings! Our meal was horrible. This is the worst Indian food we have had in Ny. This is your warning. And I feel bad, as I know restaurant have to deal with pricing hikes, but yuck. The Chicken tiki masala tastes like Chef Boyardee. A distinctive canned tomato paste flavor. The palak aloo, also tasted like it was straight from a can. Hardly any seasoning, and inedible. I have spent nine months all over India, and thankfully never had an affront to the senses this bad. That said, the nan is pretty good. Anyway, I guess I need to go make dinner now.

4 years agoTried the 5/6$ two sheesh-kababs with nan. The customer service was nice. But why did the food taste soo bland and dry? I really wanted to like this place but. Also this one time I tried the keema paratha. It was also sadly dry and bland. Maybe this place is famous for its chicken tikka? Should give this place a one last try.

6 years agoBest Pakistani food I've ever had since I came to united states If you have a better place than this I'd like to know Area is not super friendly and ready for huge group to dine in. I'm judging the quality of the food Their chicken Tikka is like heaven in earth, I have tried so many places around the country. Their naans are so fresh and fluffy and really a good size for the money I live in st Louis but visited Tikka Grill by coincidence in 2010 when I had an interview in New York, I have never forgotten my reaction after my first bite of the chikken Tikka, I did not visit NY again until recently, my plan was to visit Tikka Grill after 9 years and was hoping the flavors will be the same. I had 2 Tikka roll not because I was hungry but because I knew I won't be back to NYC for some time and I will miss this food, I even took 4 orders to go on my way back to st Louis for the whole family to enjoy for dinner (yes food flew with me in the airplane) BTW they don't take credit cards so bring some cash with you Great job Tikka Grill, I wish we have something like you in st louis

7 years agoI am still confused how this shop became grade “A”. This is totally Pakistani owner operate by only Pakistani cuisine, whole shop is dirty, not clean nothing . No credit card is one of the problem. They can’t take online order. Only cash transaction. Whole. Restaurant was a bad smell, I definitely not recommend for dine in or dine out food, food also not good.
