Last June my wife and I were looking for a nice cafe to eat breakfast for our 55th wedding anniversary and our daughter suggested Tipsy Bean Cafe. We were very pleased by the service, food and atmosphere. We decided that we were going to celebrate our 56th anniversary there today. We brought other family members with us. Four of us had the catfish meal, my niece had the breakfast dish. My brother-in-law had the steak meal, and my sister had the meaty-egg omelette. Every thing was delicious and filling and the varieties of drinks were refreshing. The server, Connor, was eager to serve us and he was outstanding in meeting our needs. His mother, Kelly, was our server last year and she was outstanding. We thought it was truly a God-given blessing to be serve by them. We love them because they were very caring. We are sorry that we missed the owner this year but we will be back soon. We, also, decided that we are going to keep coming back for our anniversaries. This place, food and enviroment is worth the hour drive through the Monitor-Merrimac Tunnel. Keep up the great work! "Because He only gives good and perfect gifts, we are blessed to have you in our lives". AND...the carrot cake...WOW!
Tried Tipsey Beans Café for our monthly Sunday fun day, and it definitely did not disappoint! The food was flavorful and perfectly seasoned, and the presentation was top-tier. The drinks were crafted so well—you can tell the mixologists really know their stuff. The atmosphere had such a great vibe, too. Williamsburg really needed a spot like this. 10/10!
Run, don't walk to Tipsy Beans! If you're thinking of going anyplace else for brunch, don't...this place is amazing! The service is top notch (thanks, Chastity! Hope I got your name right), food is delicious, and drinks are amazing! This is not your bland Cracker Barrel breakfast (no offense), everything is elevated and fresh. I've never raved about cornbread, but I will for Tipsy Beans! The stuffed french toast was also a favorite. The espresso martini was EXTREMELY delicious and we really appreciated that Chastity took the time and extra effort to craft some amazing coffee drinks; my daughter loved love dirty (espresso, not alcohol) pumpkin spice chai she made that wasn't on the menu. They have bar seating, regular tables and even a little outdoor patio. FYI, just be sure everyone in your party arrives at the same time or you'll wait to be seated.
Tipsy Beans has officially reopened and their new space is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! And let me just say they are so much more than a coffee spot. The food is DELICIOUS and they truly have something for everyone. From coffee and specialty drinks to breakfast, lunch, sweets, and plenty of food options, everything we’ve tried has been amazing. The new location is warm, cozy, welcoming, and the perfect place to relax, meet up with friends, grab a meal, or even work for a while. You can really see the love, vision, and hard work that went into creating this new space. The staff is always friendly, the atmosphere is incredible! Highly recommend 👌
The Tipsy Bean is always my go-to spot in Williamsburg! This was my first time dining here after the renovations, and I must say everything looked awesome. My favorite coffee beverage is the Funky Monkey — I love anything with banana! You literally cannot go wrong with any food choice because everything on the menu is great. The service is always on point as well. 10/10 stars!
Tipsy Beans Café is small and cute, with a cozy atmosphere. The coffee was definitely the highlight we tried several drinks, including the Almond Joy, Mud Puddle, and Funky Monkey, and all of them were fantastic. I’d honestly stop by again just for the coffee alone. The staff was mostly friendly, though the female manager nearly scolded a table behind us over party size and seating, which felt inappropriate, especially since everyone in the restaurant could hear it. Our server was okay but seemed a bit lost and went back and forth a lot. As for the food, it was decent but not standout. The crab cake sandwich was a little dry, and while my Morning After burger was pretty good, the egg definitely helped add flavor. Overall, it was an okay experience great coffee, average food, and mixed service.
I love getting the Greek Yogurt bowl and the coffee has always been good. Getting a bit disappointed that the prices haven’t reduced but the portion sizes have. Definitely not getting your money’s worth anymore. I love this bowl because of how healthy it is and how much fruit used to come in it. Hope this gets better.
This place is busy! But it’s great food. We got lucky and sat at the bar. But the bar really only has maybe 6 seats. People were waiting for tables. Anyways, not a really great place inside. Tables are there and a small bar against the wall. Food came out quick. To me this was the first Restuarant that had a very northern feel. Server was very active. Pancakes eggs bacon traditional breakfast. No complaints. Also large bowl of yogurt with fruit. Very good. Maybe the best place I visited while I was in that area.
