See All ReviewsWhat a gem. This place nails comfort food done right. I ordered the pernil with rice, beans, and a salad, and everything was spot on. The pork was tender and flavorful, the rice perfectly cooked, and the beans rich without being heavy. Even the simple salad was fresh and appreciated—it rounded the plate out nicely. The little touches really stood out: oil and vinegar at the table, clean presentation, and a welcoming, unpretentious vibe that makes you want to slow down and enjoy the meal. I also grabbed a hot chocolate because it was a chilly day—and wow, smooth and comforting. Exactly what I didn’t know I needed. You can tell this is food made with care. I’ll absolutely be back.
We just came here for the first time and it was soooooo good. We met Titi Jessica and found that I have a lot in common with her. The New Yorker in me resurfaced for a little while🤣. I lived in Queens and the Bronx a while back and Tino was born in Brooklyn. The food was great. We will definitely be back.
Food was excellent. New york style stuffed mofongo stuffed with pernil. The pernil was very good not dry and well seasoned. The caldo on the side was from beef stew, different but excellent. Fresh passion fruit juice very good. I will definitely be back.
