See All ReviewsOne of my favorite places to eat. Great prices, great kimchi, and love the Korean salad and mushroom bombs! And...of course the bulgogi is awesome!
I had a pretty disappointing experience with our server, Kevin. From the start, his service felt disorganized and a bit rude. After we had already placed our order, he asked if we wanted appetizers, which was confusing. When we said no, he responded with “it’s okay if you don’t want to order” in a tone that came off as dismissive and unprofessional. On top of that, some of the appetizers we did order never even came out. When we asked about them, Kevin kept saying “one more minute,” but they never showed up at all. It got to the point where other staff members had to step in and help take care of our table, which we appreciated, but it shouldn’t have been necessary. Overall, the experience felt unorganized and frustrating. I hope service improves in the future.
We are extremely disappointed with a staff member at Top Korean BBQ. The grill was burning the meat on the outside but leaving it uncooked inside. Despite asking several times for the grill to be changed, nothing was done, and we lost our appetite and could not finish the food. The staff yelled at us to leave and spoke to us disrespectfully, even threatening to call the police while we were calmly explaining the problem. She acted as if she were in charge, tried to make it seem like we were in the wrong, and embarrassed us in front of others. We have been to this restaurant many times, and this is the first time something like this has happened. The owner and management need to address staff like this—she does not know how to treat customers with respect and should not be in that position. Charging us for the food we couldn’t eat made the experience even worse.
