5 months agoIt was really good and fresh. The tamale was soft and good, just needed more meat. The pupusas were delicious. It was a long wait but made fresh.

5 months agoFirst of all this was my first experience with Salvadoran food and I thought it was delicious. I brought my two teenage grandkids and we decided to try and expand our pallets. We all had the Pupusas and just loved them.I didn't notice any kind of delay in waiting for our food as I have read in other reviews and the lady who waited on us was very polite and very helpful as my Spanish speaking skills are dismal at best. Between my elementary Spanish and her minimal English the language of food carried us over and the whole experience was great. I have read reviews about the prices and convenience fees in other reviews and to be objectively fair I did find the price of the bottle sodas to be a bit extreme at $4 for a 16 oz bottle and was surprised to see a $1 convenience fee added to the ticket but I looked at as my fault for not asking about the price of sodas when I didn't see them on the menu. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

10 months agoWe’ve been coming to Torito Pupuseria in Dallas-Fort Worth for over a year—usually at least once a month and sometimes even more! If you’re searching for the best Salvadorian food in DFW, this spot is unbeatable. Their authentic pupusas are always hot, fresh, and made to order, and every visit reminds us why this is our favorite Salvadorian restaurant in Dallas. The staff is always friendly and attentive. We love the comfortable tables and seating, perfect for a family dinner or getting together with friends. What really helps is that there’s a kids’ playground right in front of the restaurant—so our kids can play safely and stay entertained while we wait for our food. The wait never feels long, and it’s always worth it for such delicious, authentic Salvadorian dishes. We just wish Torito Pupuseria stayed open later for our late-night cravings, but honestly, their food is worth waiting an extra day! If you want a taste of El Salvador in North Texas, definitely check out Torito Pupuseria. You won’t find better pupusas or a more welcoming atmosphere anywhere else!

a year agoThis was our first time trying pupusas. We each got bean and cheese and chicken and cheese. It did take awhile for the order to arrive, but thr staff was nice and the food was made fresh and hot. We liked it, but hoped for a hot sauce we liked better. We would eat here again.

a year agoI loved this place! The atmosphere was cute and cozy, and the service was friendly. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. It wasn't super fast, but we could see them making the orders in the kitchen and it was worth the wait to get hot and fresh pupusas.

a year agoI love eating here! If i want some Hispanic style breakfast i come here. Give the place a try, i do not understand some of the negative reviews. Maybe they came on a bad day. I have a great experience every single time!

Edited 5 years agodelicious!!! If you’re a student or just on a low budget get the RAMEN RANCHERA for $5 !! It is so good and comforting to eat during a cold day.
