See All ReviewsThe food is very good! They have basic faire, hot dogs, cheesesteaks, etc., etc., tons of boardwalk fries! There were kids running it when we were there. It's small in there but lots of tables. Somehow they make it work! Place is nice and clean too! Will definitely be back! Gotta get a whoopie pie! Really good and under $2.50!
The food was cold but not bad. They ran out of a lot of stuff by the end of the day because it was so busy.
We are reenactors that attend the annual Trains and Troops event, and always make it a point to eat here. Despite the unpretentious presentation, the food is home made and very good. As some of us have to watch our displays, forcing us to take turns to go eat here. The chili is what worth waiting in ANY line for, made from scratch with hearty slices of tomato. It takes the frost off of the event every November. Their french fries are crispy and tasty as well; I ate all of mine, and stole half of my friend's. We look forward to the event every year, and will continue to come to the Cafe, and tell every visitor to the event to do so as well.
