If I lived locally and were not staying at this hotel I would still come here for dinner. The baked haddock was outstanding. Emma, my server, was fantastic. As a pilot I travel all over and eat all over…this place is excellent.
Do not host your afterparty here!!! Rented the tradewinds for my private afterparty for my wedding. Not only was it not private but the food was no where in sight and there was NO indication of where the *party* was being held. Upon arriving there were tons of people in the room that we paid for after being told it was rented to us. Then to be told that night that it’s only “semi-private”. The woman that we spoke to was rude and continued to say “I don’t know what to tell you” and the food/service was horrific. DO NOT HOST ANYTHING HERE. It’s not worth the ridiculous money for terrible food, a “semi-private room”, and awful staff.
Convenient hotel restaurant. Good food options. Staff was super friendly. Good place to eat, especially if you're a Hilton Honors member and need to spend the daily credit.
Good hotel! Clean. Inside the hotel there’s a cute little lounge and bar. Drinks are decent. Overly priced but what do you expect. $15 for a green tea shot but it was a bigger shot. Just to put it in perspective. I have a dairy allergy. I would let the staff know twice. Every time I went down. And either they don’t take it seriously or my waitress has always been confused. My first night I had cheese on my grilled chicken burger. She said she can scrape it off.. and then another time I was there they put a butter slab right on my steak.. then my steak came back tougher. So I’m guessing they just scraped it off. Which it doesn’t work that way. I wanted to go down because it is more convenient but every-time I would it would be an issue. They also forgot half priced appetizers was a thing. Which I feel like around the hotel it’s heavily advertised. Could be better. Now I’m being nit picky. Don’t cut your cucumbers like that on the hummus platter.
My expectations for a hotel restaurant were not very high, but I was pleasantly surprised. The manager was very welcoming and took care of every need. The food was good and the service was excellent. I was pleased to stay in the hotel and not look for dinner elsewhere.
Best New England chowder I’ve had in my four years living up here! The Caesar salad, nachos and… I really was trying to eat only a few bites of the chocolate cake, but it was impossible to leave alone 😊 The service was also incredible. Our drinks were silently refilled (important to note because this level of professionalism is desperately needed in the industry) and “H” was beyond spectacular in his care and attention to us; he’s the friendliest manager you’ll ever meet. Kristen was also a delight at the bar, with a rich personality and plenty of wit. I promise you will not be disappointed if you choose Tradewinds over driving out and fighting traffic to get a good meal. I’m certainly glad my daughter and I did. We ended up dining here three times during our stay, and I thought the pricing was fair for any restaurant (and compared to Uber Eats?? Forget about it!)
It’s a hotel restaurant where the food comes off the Sysco truck and is prepared by an average line cook. It’s nothing special for an above average price. The service when I was there was really great! Both servers were attentive, and accurate. Kept coming back to the table after we had finished the meal to continue drink orders. It’s a classic hotel dive that serves its purpose🤷🏼♂️
Service was Terrible! The Food was terrible! Placed an order for a family of 4 in a not so busy restaurant. Get this It took 1 hour and fifteen minutes for steak tips, a Flatbread pizza, chicken tenders, and a cheese burger. The order also came out cold! The two other families around me also had their meals come out unacceptably late. One actually walked out and a family member stayed behind to request the food be boxed up. The staff ignores you and hides away in a corner and never once acknowledge that a simple order is taking forever. Avoid this place and go elsewhere for a meal. Your family will thank you! You think dining in is a convenience and you end up being sorely mistaken.
