7 months agoOh yea, this is a good one. I have driven past this place alot never stopped. Place is always packed in the mornings. Decided to stop one morning and got breakfast...wow, very good. Biscuit and gravy was delicious as were the sausage and egg....gravy tasted like homemade and not the powder added to water....plan on eating here if your looking for some place new to try!

9 months agoWow. What a great small town diner. We went for lunch and had the best patty melt I've ever had. My wife loved their ice tea, and that's a rare compliment. The restaurant is small and cozy, and there aren't a lot of tables, but there are seats up at the counter, just like I grew up with. They have a wide variety of items on their menu, so I'm sure everyone can find something they'll enjoy. BTW, be sure to add a side salad (for $1) which is very good. We will definitely be coming back, again and again. Note: sign on the wall says they close at 3 PM Mon-Fri, and I don't know if they reopen later for dinner, so check first if going later than 3 PM. Saturday hours were a little different.

a year agoI love small restaurants. This little gem is right around the corner from my Mom's. It is really good home cooked food. I stopped by around 11am. this morning, and I got to enjoy beef soup with grilled cheese. It was delicious. It was so good I had to order another grilled cheese. The waitstaff is awesome. I'll be back!

a year agoA great spot to stop and grab a bite. It's right off the highway and the food is way better than a fast food place. Tons of choices at reasonable prices. It's not upscale, but if certainly good and we will be back!

2 years agoNice Diner, it is only a few min from Pilot Mountain and right across from gas station. Food and service was great. We got biscuits n gravy, eggs and sausage.

Edited 2 years agoGreat place!! We enjoy eating here!! The staff is friendly and has awesome customer service. The food is always good!! They make you feel at home. We love the veggie burger and the salads 🥗 😋 the kids like the breakfast for the mickey mouse pancakes. You really can't go wrong with eating breakfast or lunch here.
