This place is amazing. The food was great! I had a steak, green beans and a crab cake. All were cooked perfectly and delicious. Service was on point as well.
Visited The Triangle in Hancock, MD and left thoroughly disappointed. Ordered two crab cakes, neither of which barely resembled one — no real crab flavor to speak of. They came burned black on the outside while remaining undercooked on the inside. Not a little overdone, but visibly charred across most of the surface. We’re in Maryland — how do you mess up a crab cake? The side salad was equally forgettable — completely flavorless and clearly an afterthought. No effort whatsoever on any part of the plate. The kitchen clearly has a temperature control problem and quality checks seem nonexistent. When the best part of your dining experience is walking out the door, that says everything. Won’t be back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone passing through on I-70.
Food is amazing, prices are very reasonable and service is incredible! Definitely will be back!
The service was great. We ordered drinks that they don't make regularly and they put their best foot forward. The atmosphere was a very nice small town vibe. The food was good overall. Our steak was over cooked but the manager and owner were very nice and reasonable about the situation and offered valid solutions given the circumstances. The dessert was large and delicious. I recommend the chicken Chesapeake and the fresh cut fries.
Hands down the best steak and cheese sandwich - huge portion with toppings the way you want them - and don't take a pass on their home cut fries. Great service from friendly servers...so yummy we went back twice!
My family and I had lunch here. It was our first visit to this restaurant. Ordered the breaded mushrooms and homemade chips and crab dip appetizers. So good. Kids had chicken tenders and fries, my husband had the open faced roast beef and fries, and I ordered the steak and cheese sub. Everything was very good! Will definitely be going back again.
Excellent Food with kind staff. Took the twins, and got several great plates of food. I got a roast beef sandwich served open face with gravy, while the wife got a half steak sub. The roast and steak are house roasted and carved, and use the drippings to make the gravy. The fries are served 3 ways: shoestring (think McDonald's), hand cut (medium cut but fresh) and wedges (steak fries). Also got the crab chips and dip. The chips are fresh cut potatoes with old bay and the dip is similar to sawmill gravy with chunks of lump crab in it.
Recently remodeled and renovated. Best watering hole in Hancock. Good food, cold beer and the ballgame to watch on big screen TV's. Friendly staff who'll offer daily food and drink specials. Just a place for a thirsty and/or hungry cyclist can quench their thirst and satisfy an hungry appetite .
