See All ReviewsThe food was exquisite, I took a table of a curito stuffed with its good tamale, its fried doughs and I do not remember that I brought more but even my wife who does not like Cuban food many and loved precisely the congris rice that it brings inside the pork leather that was well roasted and crispy.
Tu Sabor a Cuba is amazing! We came for the cuerito relleno and it was delicious, with a huge portion we were 9 people and it was more than enough. Best croquetas de bacalao we’ve ever had, and the kids loved the Cuban pizza. Great mojitos and full bar, plus a kids’ area with bounce houses, bull ride, and painting. They even sang Happy Birthday to my dad in such a special way so make sure to tell your waiter if you’re celebrating! Authentic Cuban food, great atmosphere, and excellent service. Highly recommend! 🇨🇺✨
Huge disappointment! First of all, this isn't a restaurant. It's a food truck parked next to a roof. There's a port-a-potty and a small trailer toilet that smelled nasty when the door opened. You could smell it as you walked past it. You're outdoors in homestead, so you'll be waving away all the flies that hang around your food. The DJ played music so loud that we had to yell to communicate. We ended up at this place to celebrate a birthday and the birthday girl selected this place because of recent reviews as well as a viral video. We saw the pictures online and braced ourselves but the reviews were so positive that we assumed the food would make up for the ambiance. I guess those other reviewers have never had real Cuban food because the flavors could not be more "off." There were about 10 of us and we got a few of the family platters to try different things. The amount of food you get is more than enough but it was not worth the money we paid for it. The flavors could not have been worse. The skirt steak was a terrible cut and whatever they seasoned it with made it taste like it was liver. The chicken was bland. The steak was oversaturated with that nasty seasoning. The pork was bland and dry. The only things that were any good were the fried cheese, the rice and the lemonade. The service was just OK. Nothing special. It was a huge disappointment and we didn't want any of the leftovers, as the food tasted sub-par. The owners replied to a review, saying their food is "coveted" but I think they meant "crap." The biggest disappointment was that our hosts spent some $600 with tip, for food that would have tasted better at Pollo Tropical, for a lot less.
