See All ReviewsVery nice place and friendly stuff but my cheese fries and brisket was full of fat and very shiny. I drove 30 minutes and it was my first time there I went in hungry and left hungry.
Greatest brisket and BBQ plates I have had in a restaurant setting. Eating in there is like eating BBQ at home with the family at the end of an awesome week. Cici and Debbie are always so kind and welcoming, along with the rest of the staff.
Tucker’s likely has the best BBQ for 50 miles around! Have a seat and a friendly server will bring you a menu and get your drinks, then deliver your order with all the condiments…pretty comfy. Restaurant is open and ranchy, very SouTex. Brisket was moist, flavorful bark. Sausage pretty close to a Spanish chorizo link, firm and great flavor. Although Ribs are giant with sweet spicy flavored bark have to knock them for being tough…required more effort than expected and extra calories to consume. But again, great flavor. Maybe just another hour in the pit… Potato salad has nice zing and beans were good. Easy on/off 77 and would have to work hard to find better further south. Busy at lunch time! Reasonable prices for 3-meat plate.
