If you’ve ever wanted to experience both high blood pressure and low energy at the same time, congratulations—you’ve found your spot! Everything here seems to take a deep dive into the fryer before getting baptized in lemon pepper powder.🤷🏾♂️ The menu reads like a love letter from Frozen to grease—oysters, scallops, gyros, Philly cheesesteaks—all fighting for your arteries’ attention. Ingredients? Let’s just say they’re not exactly bragging about their pedigree.
There is something special about Tunis. It’s not your typical fast food, it’s made FRESH and HOT to order. I have eaten Tunis 20+ times, it’s so consistent, always delicious. They are way less expensive than competitors. The chicken tenders are AMAZING, so fresh, I would say the best chicken tenders in Jax. Hush puppies are delightful and it’s hard to find good hush puppies in Florida. THE SEASONING IS WHAT MAKES TUNIS SO SPECIAL. I don’t know what it is, definitely a blend of a lot of spices, it’s sweet, salty, zesty, tangy and SO DELICIOUS. They generously season with it too, so every bite is memorable. I love Tunis so much, it’s such a special and unique place. If you are in Jax, try it. I promise you won’t regret it.
We ordered via uber eats twice during our 2-day stay here and this is my favorite place ever. The portions are huge, seasoning is perfect and it’s comfortable I feel like I stole it. Will definitely come back the next time we’re in Jville.
