See All ReviewsI ordered a Bozooka wrap, and it took more than 30 minutes to prepare. The wrap was almost empty. I basically paid $28 for a lavash with barely 20 grams of chicken inside. The only flavors you could taste were tomato and pepper paste. It was awful. This is a place we will never go to again. Answer to This Awful Business’s Reply: First of all, my review is completely accurate, and thank you for proving my point. Please don’t think I care enough about your company to leave a negative comment for no reason. Trust me, if the food had not been awful, I would not have posted this review at all. You should learn how to speak to customers professionally. Instead of immediately attacking your customers and calling them liars, maybe first ask why they felt disappointed and try to understand their complaints so you can improve your service. Yes, I ordered online, but that does not change what I paid for: a nearly empty lavash. I do not need to know how much commission Uber Eats takes from you. As a customer, all I know is the amount I paid for the item. Also, the price I mentioned did not even include taxes or platform fees. I am your customer, not your accountant, so do not expect me to think about how much profit you make. We placed the order at 5:47 PM, and the status stayed on “Preparing” until nearly 6:15 PM. If your system updated differently, then that is an issue between you and the platform, not me. I received the order at 6:50 PM. I understand that the delivery after pickup is not your responsibility, but please do not act like the order was prepared instantly in 15 minutes. You should listen to your customers instead of behaving childishly. I literally ate lavash with tomato and pepper paste. Since I know exactly what I received, how can you shamelessly claim there were nearly 300 grams of chicken inside? Shame on you. I will attach a picture, although I am sure you will probably claim it was only one side of the wrap or accuse me of removing the chicken myself. Also, I am sorry that I did not care enough about your business to spend extra time carefully opening the wrap and showing every part of what was inside. After your reply, I honestly wish I had done that. And finally, if the problem had truly been caused by delivery or platform issues, I would not have left this review. The problem was the food itself. Also, please do not rely on fake reviews or ask friends to leave positive comments just to mislead customers into having the same awful experience.
We tried Turkish Couple for the first time today, and unfortunately, it didn’t meet our expectations. I ordered the yogurtlu beef tantuni after being told the chicken tantuni was unavailable. The amount of meat inside was extremely small — it mostly felt like a wrap filled with vegetables and yogurt, and I could barely taste the meat at all. My husband ordered the zurna(bazooka) chicken wrap, and although the wrap looked large, there was very little chicken inside, so it wasn’t filling either. As Turkish customers, we normally love supporting Turkish businesses and honestly didn’t want to leave a negative review. But the food simply did not feel authentic or satisfying compared to real Turkish street food. We were expecting much more flavor, portion, and quality. Hopefully this feedback helps improve the experience for future customers. EDIT: After reading the owner's response to customer feedback, I honestly felt even more disappointed. Instead of responding professionally and respectfully, the reply came across as defensive and dismissive toward the customer's personal experience. We simply shared our honest opinion about the food and portions based on what we received. Taste and satisfaction are subjective, and customers should be able to leave respectful feedback without being made to feel guilty for it. Unfortunately, because of the way the feedback was handled, I've decided to lower my rating.
Turkish Couple is a great spot for authentic Turkish food. The food is flavorful and clearly made with love. The service is warm and welcoming. The hospitality really stands out—definitely a place worth visiting.
