The place was nice, clean and welcoming. We felt like we were at home. Although we did not sit and eat we picked up food and it was smooth and quick. The owner, Willie, came out to greet us and made us feel welcome. The front clerk was very nice and professional. I am looking forward to coming here again.
The breakfast was really good and the staff was great also! Had one of their lemon goey cakes and it was delicious! Will definitely be back.
WOW, literally a hidden gem in Missouri city! So gooood 10/10 . Chicken was fried to perfection the flavor is there! Breakfast potatoes were perfect and the service everyone was so sweet , and should I mention!? BLACK OWNED. I will definitely be back.
We really enjoyed this place for breakfast on a Saturday! The owner was extremely friendly and we had a great server. The food was really yummy. I loved the potatoes and the French toast was INCREDIBLE. This will be a go-to breakfast place for us! I highly recommend it.
Absolutely delicious! Everything was made in house. The biscuits were perfect. The French toast didn’t even need syrup! Took home seconds and also some desserts and their famous tea cakes.
The food was unbelievably good! The service was excellent. You don’t even need syrup on the French toast, it’s so good! The biscuits were perfect and freshly made from scratch! We took home some desserts and of course, some tea cakes!
Let's start off by saying the customer service was amazing. The plate with the fork is my turkey omelette for me the veggies were crunchy which will not stop me from coming back for another one. My husband said his omelette was the same but that should not stop you from coming to try the omelette. The price is reasonable for two. I talked to Uncle Honey and Miss Renae they are some amazing people. This is most definitely a family business they make you feel like family ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ here is my 30 star as promised
I came across Uncle Honey's Home Style Desserts after reading a post on another social media site. This place is close to me, although I have never heard of or seen the place and it was opened in 2015. I was pleasantly surprised when I made the visit. The shop is located in an unassuming shopping center, near a tire shop. I almost missed it even with my GPS and had to drive around the area. Once you park and walk up to the doors, you can smell the scent of baked goods permeating through the door. The friendly lady at the shop greeted me before I even stepped into the store. I went after 12:00 so many of the desserts were sold out. I got the banana pudding (single serving), the 7-up pound cake with lemon glaze, and buttermilk tea cakes. I tried a little bit of everything when I got home. I've never had tea cakes and was curious. These were delicious -not too sweet, slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The banana pudding was delicious - I told my son that it was even better than the one at the Grand Central Station in NYC!! The pound cake - dense and moist, just like what a pound cake is supposed to taste. Overall, everything was delicious! I will be going back to get some more! PS -They have a Saturday brunch but I have not tried it yet! JANUARY 2026 UPDATE; Yum! I went there for breakfast this time! The restaurant is spacious and laid back. I ordered Belgian waffles and wings. It took awhile for my breakfast to come but when it came, it looked delicious! The waffle was “plump” and light and the chicken wings were seasoned well. The staff was courteous and attentive. The owner was at the register and she’s always nice! I totally enjoyed my breakfast.
