I needed a quiet place to get away while the vet was doing a procedure on my dog. Vet tech recommended Uncle Mike’s Bistro. Wow! Quiet, delicious and such nice people too! He really seemed to care that I got just what I needed in my experience here. I will come back and highly recommend that you do too! Pricing is excellent and the food was too!
The food is phenomenal and the service makes you feel like family — the kind you actually like seeing. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak with cucumber salad, and my amazing wife had the Tuscan Panini with cucumber salad. Both plates disappeared so fast the server probably thought we were being timed. Then we decided to split a cup of chili. Big mistake… because now I have to live the rest of my life pretending my wife’s chili is still my favorite. Let’s just say if Uncle Mike ever starts selling that chili by the gallon, I might be making some sneaky “grocery runs.” 🤫😂 If you haven’t been here, do yourself a favor and go. Your taste buds will wonder why you didn’t discover this place sooner — and you might even start a friendly domestic chili rivalry of your own.
I visited Uncle Mike’s Café and was warmly greeted as soon as I walked in. I ordered the Tuscan Panini, and cucumber salad- and it was absolutely delicious- fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service was incredible from start to finish. Highly recommend stopping by, and I’ll definitely be back!
Hidden Gem in Argyle — Uncle Mike’s Bistro I stumbled into Uncle Mike’s Bistro for breakfast and was immediately charmed by its cozy atmosphere and warm welcome. The avocado toast was fresh and flavorful, the omelettes were absolutely divine, and the latte? Strong and bold—just the way I like it. What truly stood out was the outstanding customer service. Friendly, attentive, and genuine, the team made the experience feel more like a visit with family than a stop at a restaurant. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Argyle, I highly recommend giving this bistro a try. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again.
It was absolutely delicious, wonderful experience! My omelette was to die for. The toast had a perfect crispy exterior. Coffee was really good! I bet they clean their coffee maker! There was so aftertaste like other places. Staff were friendly. We will be coming back!
We sought out this hidden gem for brunch with a small group. I had the breakfast quesadillas, pictured. They were awesome, grilled crispy on the outside and fluffy eggs inside. Another in our group had a beautiful green veggie wrap. It's a small place, but the service was wonderfully welcoming.
Hidden gem in Argyle. Cozy Italian style restaurant. I had the Philly cheesesteak with chips. Food was great. Very flavorful. Wish they had fries instead of chips. Waitress was friendly but overwhelmed. Service very slow. However I do recommend this place. I will be back.
Cute little cafe, looks like they need to update their display broads as they were missing or covered. One gal running the whole front, very nice and we were patient. Coffee is in a big cup which is great, pancakes are huge and fluffy but not too sweet. Syrup compliments its chewy texture. I couldn't finish, but taste fresh and homemade. Turkey sausage is good and not too spicy if you need a mild protein.
