4 weeks agoWe hosted a private event at Uncle Worm’s and had such a great experience! Our group of 45 women from Waco Babes Book Club felt so welcomed from the moment we arrived. The staff was incredibly accommodating, made our large group feel right at home, and stayed open late just for us, which meant so much. The food was great, the service was friendly, and they kept up with our crowd so well while still creating such a fun, relaxed atmosphere for the night. It’s always extra special supporting a small, family-owned local business that genuinely cares about its guests. We’re so thankful for their hospitality and can’t wait to come back!

a month agoThis place had wonderful laidback relaxed environment! The staff was friendly and very responsive when we walked in the door. The appetizers and food were excellent. The beers were ice cold and served in frozen mugs!! The owner came and chat with us as well as most everyone there eating. Very nice, well spoken man! Will definitely be back!! 10/10!

a month agoOur first visit to Uncle Worm’s was such a great experience! From the moment we walked in, everything felt welcoming and laid-back, but still attentive. The food was fresh, flavorful, you can tell they take pride in what they serve. What really made the visit stand out though was our server, McKayla. She was absolutely amazing, super friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and made sure we had everything we needed the entire time. She had great recommendations and genuinely made us feel taken care of. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be asking for McKayla again!

3 months agoWent there for a late lunch, it was great! Service was good too. Never heard of it, and been around Waco a lot! Drove by one day and checked into it. If you like cocktails it has many, if you don't it is still awesome. The cook came out and asked how everything was, may have been Uncle Worm, not sure though!He was conversing with my 84 year old mom ( with her new & great Miracle Ears) she got a hoot out of him! We will come back although we live over 60 miles away. Thank you for keeping it personable. Keep up the great work!

4 months agoFirst time trying out this place after a basketball game and it definitely won’t be the last. First and foremost- the staff is AMAZING. Our waitress Michelle was incredible and worked her tail off. She was perfectly kind and took her time to get everything just right. She even gave our kiddos quarters to get candy on the way out. She deserves serious praise for her efforts. Food was fantastic- highly recommend the smoked gouda cheese hush puppies and the burgers. Fun environment with good music. Highly recommend a visit!!

a year agoVisiting Waco. Walked in Sunday afternoon about 145. Was the only one there and thought.. oh boy. Was warmly greeted and seated and brought the brunch menu. Ordered the brisket Mac and cheese. They brought it out, and I thought to myself, I wonder how this is going to taste. Well it was DELICIOUS. The Mac n cheese itself was very good but the brisket on top was awesome. I mixed it all up and was super full. Got banana pudding to go.

2 years agoThe food was good. The pork was a little sweet for my liking. The Mac momma had a LOT of Buffalo sauce on it, next time I will get it on the side. The waitress seemed new and nervous, but she was sweet. The drinks were good as well. Place is a little off the beaten track but overall I give it 4 solid stars.
