Everything was super good. If your in Robstown go by and check them out. Came in from Houston for work and was craving BBQ the locals recommended this place and it didn't disappoint.
I'm giving this place 5 stars across the board, even for the atmosphere. Make no mistake, this place is the definition of "hole in the wall". When we pulled up it appeared to be busy with lots of take-away orders, however, you can still dine-in in the make shift structure attached to the building. It's NOT fancy (which is part of the charm) but the food was amazing. The brisket is flavorful and juicy and their potato salad was delicious with a nice punch of dill flavor. We also ordered the smoked turkey leg and it was tender and had a nice smokey flavor that didn't disappoint. We will definitely return and hopefully the next time I will remember to take a few pictures.
It was ok. I haven't tried other BBQ places in Corpus yet, but I've had much better BBQ in Austin and even in Virginia. The rib meat fell off the bone, which was great, but didn't have much flavor. The brisket tasted fine, but was too moist, to the point where it was mushy. The sausage tasted good but the casing had an overly firm consistency. The sides were pretty good. Service was quick and staff were friendly.
