The beef biryani is incredible! Very authentic Bangladeshi food. This spot is so underrated.
the food is mostly pretty well seasoned and overall tasty but their meats have a tendency of being too dry, maybe bc they leave the food out w/o temp holding and just microwave to reheat. I wish this wasn't the case otherwise I'd come here all the time most workers are super nice. I come back sometimes but one of my first times here (in 2024) the owner or someone very kindly gave my friend and me so much free masala chai😭 restaurant has cozy, down to earth vibes. frequented by Desi cab drivers and other working class folks halal + cash discount
Incredibly rude and overpriced mid-food. I came here with my friend for some late night snacks, the owners made fun of me for my order of "chaat papri," which may not be a traditional Bengali snack but was more fairly priced than the other items It was filled with undercooked chickpeas and covered in a yogurt sauce that tasted old , I would not recommend. My friend's butter chicken was fine but the comments I received for ordering it were not worth it. The owners and other customers speculated that I was "hindu," and not actually from Noakhali, all because I ordered something "basic." I don't need to prove I'm "bengali," I can eat better kala bhunna and tehari at home, I wanted to try something I don't know how to make. Why put it on your menu if you can't either? And why be rude to your customers?
