Food was fantastic and the service was excellent! This is a steak lovers best kept secret!
The night started off at about 6:00 p.m. when we got there, my wife and I, for date night on a Friday. The atmosphere was cool they were playing good music on a video screen The silverware was smudged and did not match what my wife's silverware look like, and the table was a little rickety but other than that it seemed nice. Our server was very cool and helpful as far as being knowledgeable with the menu. We ordered our food and in between the chips and salsa and the small lentil soup that they give you as an appetizer waited roughly 45 minutes for our food to get to our table. It looked good and smelled unbelievable. I took a photo and posted it on my messenger and my daughter and her husband reacted immediately by asking me where I was because the food looks so good in the picture. I told him I was at Victoria's steakhouse Mexican grill and they told me they would be here in 15 minutes. My wife and I proceeded to eat and it was very good and I mean very very good. The steak was cooked to perfection the potato was baked and had a cheese topping on it that made it taste different from just a regular baked potato. The grilled onions and house jalapeno were also very good as well as the salad and the vinaigrette that came on our butcher block plate. My daughter got there with her husband and they placed an order as we were talking and enjoying each other's company 45 minutes into it we noticed the food still wasn't there an hour into it and it was still not there after another 15 minutes My son-in-law asked for the check cuz he was not going to wait any longer after my daughter and he had been waiting an hour and 15 minutes with still no food in sight. A lovely night turned awful without an explanation as to why the food was taking so long so our experience is mixed the food was good, service was okay, but if you're in a hurry to eat during dinner time you're going to be there for a while. The restaurant seems like it needs some help in the kitchen and I won't be visiting again for quite some time until I feel they have fixed the issue with plating their food at a reasonable time. FYI, try not to use the restrooms or as my wife referred to them, "the indoor out house."
