Wife and I stopped in for lunch several weeks ago and had a great experience so we decided to pick it for our monthly dinner gathering. I made reservations for 9 and they set up for 8 ( not a big deal other than everyone standing around wondering what was going on). When the waitress came in after 15 minutes she took our drink order and that took awhile. After another time gap she took our food order then another gap. Food came out slowly with one one dinner order arriving 10 minutes after everyone else was served. When we finally got our checks the waitress said she was removing a beer from each since the service didn't go well. ( I was charged for 2 beers of which I only received 1 due to running out of product.) This is sad since this place used to be a great place to go.
Almost 2 hour wait for food they didn’t bring the whole tables food out together and we were still missing many things after they brought food out and some of it was incorrect (we ordered very simple foods wings and fried food mostly) . Sat with empty drinks for a while. Reason they said we’re behind was because of a table of 15 in the other room, still not a valid reason in my opinion to make use sit and wait 2 hours for our food. Ended up going through the drive through somewhere and leaving with just paying for our drinks. Used to be a great establishment has significantly gone down hill the past couple years. We will not be returning.
I had a chef salad and husband had fish sandwich. Both were great and well sized. The owners were friendly and even gave a tour of the rest of the building.
Wings are always great! If you actually get the flavors you order? Way different story 🤷🏻♂️ They answered immediately when I called to order, but when I called to let them know the flavors weren’t correct? I called 4x and it just says “party unavailable “ I didn’t want anything free, just wanted yall to know that the kitchen was messing up.
So disappointed by the food and the raise in prices. I know every restaurant has raised them, but for the area this is just crazy. Almost $9 for potato chips? $9 for six mozzarella sticks? At a similar bar down the road the exact same product is $4-5. And the food was bland, not any flavor. The brew city fried were good, but other than that, the entire meal was a miss.
Stopped in for lunch. Was not busy at all. I decided to go with the Valley Chimichanga. I also ordered the pot stickers for the appetizer because when I get a chimichanga at most Mexican restaurants, they are not too big. The pot stickers were excellent, and the dipping sauce was great. Sometimes, the sauce is too runny, but this was a perfect consistency. The chimichanga was amazing. It's larger than I expected, and the taste was equally amazing. Very good food and exceeded my expectations.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY/TIME! What a disaster our meal was. I am visiting from North Carolina and we decided on The Valley Inn for my granddaughter’s 1st birthday dinner. We were excited for the “wings” and WOAH what a huge disappointment. Firstly, the wait for our food was ridiculous. I’m assuming it was a staffing issue because it wasn’t even full at the restaurant. We all ordered a small cheesesteak and each got a half dozen wings. When the waitress finally brought our food out, our jaws dropped in disbelief. The “wings” were so tiny, like miniature! At one point my son was laughing so hard, he had tears in his eyes. They were obviously over cooked because those puppies couldn’t last in a deep fryer for more than one minute simply due to their size. The cheesesteaks were subpar. A big bun with a sprinkle of cheesesteak meat. This place must be hurting financially because they are definitely cutting corners when it comes to the food quality. Also got charged for watered down Pepsi refills (just one each person) AND for using my bank card to pay for the meal. All of this mess for an $82 bill (three adults, one toddler and our bday girl) PLEASE TAKE HEED AND RUN (don’t walk) in the opposite direction of this place!
Update: We had a wedding in both of the back rooms. Josh was wonderful to work with, and exceeded our expectations. Accommodating for all items thrown our way; he was able to move up the meal time and that the appetizer when the bridal party showed up earlier than expected. As always the food is delicious, the staff in the back make excellent dishes. All 150 guests and cleaning up all of the dinner wear in great time. Original: A wedding was going on while we visited. While the staff was a little thin due to the event; our waiter was attentive and helpful as much as possible. I highly suggest looking over the weekly specials- that's how we picked up the wonderful Aztec Salsa-. We happened to get the baked scallops , the Italian Burger, and Grilled Chicken Salad. Very generous portions, so reminder to come hungry.
