Yeah this place had a crazy menu to start. Way over priced!!! The food was terrible, ordered a burrito complained about it and was told it was stir fry in it. Which makes zero sense that’s not Mexican. The green peppers in the “stir fry” burrito weren’t even cooked. I said “do you like your food cooked?” And she walked away. My wife got some sort of wet burrito and it had lettuce in it and had been clearly cook in a microwave. Totally a regulars place. And they go for drinks not food. The place tricks tourist into stoping. Place was the only Mexican restaurant I’ve been too with zero Mexicans. Terrible choice for food! Also our waitress goes “did you y’all save room for cherry pie” , which was nice of her but phew we were at a Mexican restaurant not a dinner. Save some money and your stomach by leaving Vasquez Hacienda in the sunset as you drive past it.

A lot of flavor in a small little town. If you dare on your way to TC from Charlevoix or Petoskey make this your pit stop. Great food, great service and great atmosphere. I honestly don’t know about the reviews below, but we were there 4/28/18 and the place was super clean, the bathrooms were also clean and they even have a changing table which a lot of big restaurants don’t have.

Went to Vasquez 4/22/2018 for the first time to have Mexican and only serving polish dishes. I hate polish food so I just got I side salad and coffee and my wife got stuffed cabbage and soup. The bill was $48.00 plus a tip, expensive for one dinner and no refills on drinks. The worst part was we kept having bugs crawling on our table. I told the waitress and she sent over I assume the manager and she wiped the bugs off our table and said oh sorry. The bugs kept comming and crawling over my napkin and silverware and I asked for my bill so we could leave. I wonder how many bugs are crawling around in the kitchen Disgusting! I'm never going back to this place.
