Yeah the atmosphere isn’t updated like the newer Vietnamese restaurants BUT nonetheless the food is always amazing and it’s that typical traditional Vietnamese restaurant vibe. I’m born & raised in Port Arthur and have been coming here for more than 20 years now. Parking sometimes isn’t the best but you’ll find a spot. Come give them a try! Support your local small businesses!
I love their chicken wings and Thai milk tea, one of the best Vietnamese places I have ordered from. The parking spaces are good as well, so it's not complicated to do a quick stop to get a fine taste of Vien Dong Restaurant's food. For locals or travelers looking for some Vietnamese restaurants, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try.
Had the pho, egg rolls and shrimp fried rice. We like to try different pho restaurants. The pho was seasoned just right. I almost missed the place as it was a busy night at its location. The owner was nice enough to call me and direct me to his place.
