Ordered a bunch, and it was really good! There were some things that are an acquired taste, but most of it was very good! Definitely recommend going!
Food was excellent!! So great. Nice place too, waitress seemed busy and kept forgetting about us and to bring our drinks. Didn’t get basic drinks until after the food came. Other than that, top notch.
I really enjoyed the pho (meatball/brisket/tripe) and spring rolls from Viet Huong. The broth was savory and seasoned well. The spring rolls were delicious with the peanut sauce. The only note I would add is making the spring rolls more uniform in size and composition. I’ve never had spring rolls with Thai Basil before but it was good! I was immediately greeted and promptly seated in a booth. The restaurant was inviting, friendly, and busy for dinner time. I’m from out of town but will definitely be returning on my next trip to Huntsville, Alabama!
I want to start off by saying if i only ordered the pho my review would be 5 stars This is my first time trying vietnamese food and I placed an order for pickup with the beef pho and added shrimp with an order or spring rolls and a clay pot. The total price came out to around 45 dollars and that includes a $5 tip+taxes so their prices are very fair. The broth was amazing when i took my first bite of the pho it genuinely sent chills down my body. The noodles were super light and very enjoyable. The only thing i would critique about the pho would be the flavoring of the meat i do wish they would season it a little before cooking because it was bland. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ They clay pot was underwhelming when it came to the rice it was very dry and lacked flavor (first time having vietnamese food so im not for sure if its supposed to be this way) everything else in the pot tasted amazing though. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The spring rolls were definitely something different it came wrapped in rice paper and when i took a bike flavors of onion, cilantro, and pork hit me (i could be wrong) weird but it came to enjoy it the sauce that came with it was beautiful and without i dont think i wouldve finished the rolls. The meat inside also lacked flavor (shrimp and i believe pork) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ overall great experience and I would definitely come again but I would dine in just to make sure I’m eating everything correctly
Had friends visiting from out of town, and decided to try this place for dinner. We went on a Saturday night around 6pm, and there were several people standing at the doorway waiting to get it, but it only took our group of 5 about 10 minutes to get seated. The first thing we noticed (other than the amazing food smells wafting through the air as we walked to our table) was how spotlessly clean everything was. Within a few minutes, our server took our orders and delivered our beverages. We ordered spring rolls and crab rangoon as appetizers, and both were excellent.....There was a selection of sauces to use at the table, as well as sauces that came out with the egg rolls and crab rangoons. Or meals were delivered quickly, and everthing was wonderfully fresh and tasty. The portions are HUGE! Almost all of us had leftovers to take home. Three of us had Pho soups....and 2 of us had Clay Pot hot meals. Everyone was very happy with their selections. The Pho broth was very rich and flavorful, and there were plenty of ingredients included to make it a very filling meal. We also loved the extra plate of bean sprouts, cilantro, lime and jalapenos that came out with each Pho order. By bringing them out on a separate plate, we were able to add them to our soup as we wanted, and they were much fresher this way. The prices here were also amazing....for our five meals, plus 5 appeatizers, plus 2 beverages (3 of us had water).....our bill came to just over $100 plus tip. Very reasonable, especiall considering the portion sizes. This place will definitely go on our list of favorites!
Viet Huong is by far one of my favorite Vietnamese spots, especially on those chilly days when you just need something warm for the soul. A good P2 always hits the spot. ❤️ I’ve been coming here for years, and trust me, that’s not changing anytime soon.🥣
Good eat place! Service was good. I love their fried egg rolls. They came out hot and crispy. I had the Korean short ribs, my wife had the chicken clay pot. Food was excellent. We will definitely continue to support
Learned that you can get the P3 and sub tendon for steak, no price difference, such a good combination with the meatball. 2025: Pleased by the continuous improvement. Tried the Shaken Beef, very good. The side salad has a light vinegary dressing that was pleasant and went well with the beef. The side fried rice had a nice crisp on the outside, very good. Would get again. 2024: service has improved. Pho is still good, tendon is still the star. Considering you can only get the large size to go, the togo bowl needs to be larger. It's too small to fit the ingredients and the broth at the same time. 2023: I finally got the chance to come back here (last time was in 2016) and I'm pleasantly surprised at how well the place has grown. I got the P1 - Pho Dac Biet (large 10.75). It was just as good as I remembered it. There was huge chunks of very tender tendon (I'd come back just for that) in delicious broth. My server wasnt great. He brought out my meal (which came out fast) but didn't stop at my table again even though he I saw him in the dining room several times and he had no other tables. Other servers did stop by and check on me and offer more water while they were in the area and brought out my ticket when I was finished.
