My partner and I looked for a cute lunch spot. We got a great view, swift and sweet customer service, and delicious food. The vodka sauce was amazing, and price wise everything was great! Highly recommend, 10/10, go here!
we came here two years ago and have been looking for this restaurant ever since. we showed up at 8pm dying for some food. we had the absolute best onion rings I have ever eaten in my life. we got hot chocolate that came in a styrofoam cups. I appreciated that it was just slightly room temperature as to not burn my tongue. the straw was very helpful. when asked if we wanted marshmallows, of course we obliged. the waitress dropped them personally into our drinks with her bare hands. the marshmallows were vintage and aged which was a great touch, at least three years old. the ravioli was phenomenal, microwaved to slightly below room temperature as to once again spare our mouths from the heat. similarly, the lack of flavour allowed our taste buds to have an easier experience. all in all great experience except the family next to us being loud. will be returning in December.
My first time at Villa Vito. My brother brought me there for lunch. He knows it well. The food was delicious! We had chicken parmigiana with ziti, salad and garlic bread. It was an awesome meal for a great price! And our waitress was very nice. A real family place! Looking forward to going back and eating on the outside patio next time. So good!
I never do this, but people should know. Got fished to try the place by the owner who was at the door luring us in. We were really hungry and this is first place we saw so we decided to go in. When I started ordering he walked away mid order. That should have been our cue to leave. Ordered fried zucchini and instead owner brought these soggy mozzarella sticks claiming they were not fully cooked to enjoy while the zucchini was ready. When I asked if that was supposed to be a gift or free he grabbed mozzarella sticks and took them away and added they did not have zucchini available. I kept asking for straw for my drink. After waiting 20 minutes, owner showed up with not 1 but 2 straws that were already open (no wrap) and launched them straight into my drink. 2 minutes later a waiting staff shows up with a straw with wrapping. At that point all the germs from owners hands where all over my drink. Owner brought up my friends beer holding it by the neck so his germs were all over the bottle neck too. Overpriced food, and the place was beyond sketchy. Heard yelling and profanity coming out of the kitchen at full volume. Can’t believe this place is still in business.
Cute place by the canal. DO NOT BE FOOLED, IT’S A DUMP! The bar looked decrepit, tables were piled with junk and the waitress was literally Mama Fratelli. Rude and unfriendly. She took our order and never brought out my drink (after arguing about it being available. It was on the menu). After 15 minutes of waiting and no drink, no waitress and no bill we threw $20 on the table to cover one drink, water and fries and left. She chased us down yelling that we owed her money. We pointed out that she never served us our drink and she unhappily accepted the money we left. Sad because every other restaurant and bar were packed. They definitely have a gem, but it needs some serious polishing.
Stopped to refuel after a long ride- beautiful day beautiful breeze, wait staff worked hard. Sat and received our meals in a quick minute. The owners made us feel like family. Spent time sharing the history, family secrets and even gave us free dessert.. They were very hospitable. Stopping for a bite, keeping in mind the location and the expectations....this was a beautiful visit. Food was as expected and the Caesar salad was tops. It was a tough year for restaurants but the owners had endured much more but push onward through the time. Thanks for an entertaining afternoon guys..
My friend, and I had really good brick oven pepperoni slice. It definitely was a NY style pizza taste, and texture. It had the crunch in the crust that I love. They were really cool about us having our own drinks. It was a little mom, and pop shop. I felt like I was at home, even though it was a restaurant. And after we finished eating, we had ambrosia that was on the house. They were very hospitable, friendly, and sweet. I felt like I was visiting family instead of going to a restaurant.
I don't get these negative reviews. My wife & I had dinner with friends here about 6 mo. ago and we all had very good meals. Good, friendly service. Yeah, it's not the nicest looking dining room, but the food was excellent and the prices are very good. We were there recently with 2 other couples. We all ordered something different from the menu and all of us had a delicious meal. Service was excellent, staff was friendly. Best marinara sauce around! Definitely going back. Looking forward to hanging out in their outside area.
