Best BBQ period. All side dishes are equally fantastic, though their Brunswick Stew is simply the best. Everytime in in the area, I will absolutely drive out of the way to snag a delicious lunch from the Wagon Wheel. Typically we will pickup snacks and goods from the nearby farmers market & vendors produce vendors setup on the property. Go. Support and enjoy the best local BBQ. You'll thank me! 😊
Stop. Do not pass unless they are closed. Locals know this is the best bbq in the area and travelers who need a break or desire a happy tummy know to stop here. Never been? If they're open and you're just passing through, stop and eat. There is outdoor seating in the shade and well worth the pit stop. Take some with you. We enjoyed pulled pork sandwich plates. The slaw, beans, potato salad, and Brunswick stew was spot on! Yum. We'll make our way back soon. Reasonable prices too. Stop next door for home made desserts or fresh produce. Country folks can cook! And hospitality... fun place. Get to know a neighbor at the tables. They'll tell you it's good food. The sauces are delicious too. Try all of 'em.
